2019 Celebration & Fundraising Dinner
Guest Speakers Derrick & Julie Tennant
Derrick was progressing in a sports career before a random bleed left him in a coma. Today, Derrick is a stand-up comedian and although he is unable to use his left arm and walks with a limp, he still ‘loves his life!’ His sister, Julie, has Down Syndrome, a condition caused by an “extra” chromosome that her grandpa called the LOVE chromosome. Derrick & Julie are living answers to the question “Do disabilities and love mix?”
You can learn more about them at thelovechromosome.com.
2019 Walk for Life
We had an amazing time at both Waynesboro and Fayetteville walks this year! Thanks to business sponsors, walkers, and sponsors, we’ve raised over $20,000 so far. These funds will go a long way to support local babies and their families. THANK YOU!
Check out the video below for some highlights from this year’s walks!
2019 Girls Day Out
We had such a wonderful time with all of you at the 5th annual Girls Day Out on February 23rd! There was an overwhelmingly positive response to the day and to our speaker, Jennie Puleo. We pray you were challenged and encouraged by her message.
Take a look at the highlight video below. Special thanks to Terrie Hall Photography for taking these pics!
